A K-12 school in Acton, MA is seeking a skilled School Psychologist for a contract position lasting the current school year (CSY). This opportunity is ideal for professionals experienced in providing comprehensive psychological services to students, supporting their academic, social, and emotional development.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students K-12
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and support strategies
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed
- Analyze data to inform interventions and support student success
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expertise on student needs
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to student psychological services
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in Massachusetts
- Experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities
- Knowledge of special education laws and practices
