Physical Therapy Assistant (LTAC) is needed for a travel assignment in Nashua, New Hampshire. This position supports a long-term care nursing home setting, working under PT supervision to help residents improve mobility, strength, and functional independence. Start date is October 19, 2026, for a 13-week assignment with guaranteed hours. Weekly pay ranges from $1,817 to $1,905, with a guaranteed 35 hours per week. Shift is 5x8 days, with standard hours from 08:00 to 16:30.

Responsibilities
- Provide and document PT interventions under supervision, including therapeutic exercises and mobility training
- Implement treatment plans to improve strength, range of motion, balance, and functional mobility
- Conduct gait training, transfers, and activities of daily living (ADL) training as appropriate
- Monitor patient response to therapy, report changes to the supervising PT, and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Maintain accurate documentation in medical records and ensure compliance with facility policies
- Promote safety, infection control, and patient-centered care during all activities
Requirements
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in New Hampshire
- Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assistance
- Experience in a long-term care, skilled nursing, or LTAC setting is preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a nursing home environment
- Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
