A K-12 public school in Billerica, MA is seeking a skilled 1:1 nurse to provide direct support for a medically fragile student during transportation and throughout the school day. This contract role runs through the current school year (CSY), starting as soon as possible through June 2026, Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities include assisting the student with preparation for daily transportation between home in Billerica and their educational placement in Lexington via special education van. Work hours begin between 7:00 and 7:30 AM, with dismissal around 2:00 PM. While a nurse is on-site at the out-of-district campus, the nurse in this role will also have opportunities to float across other locations within the district as needed.
Qualified candidates must hold an active RN or LPN license and have previous experience or training in school nursing or medically fragile pediatric care. Strong communication skills and reliability during transportation duties are essential.
