Job Requirements\n

    \n
  • At least 1 year of IMCU experience
  • \n

  • 2+ years of recent med-surg and telemetry experience
  • \n

  • Experience caring for neuro patients, MIs, trachs, and complex medical needs
  • \n

  • Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips
  • \n

  • Comfort with automated medication dispensing systems
  • \n

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • \n

  • Preferred: critical care or higher-acuity nursing experience
  • \n

Responsibilities\n

    \n
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to cardiac stepdown and mixed-acuity patients
  • \n

  • Monitor telemetry and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
  • \n

  • Care for patients with neuro, medicine, and cardiology needs
  • \n

  • Support patients with chronic vents, trachs, and high-acuity heart failure
  • \n

  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to promote safe, patient-centered care
  • \n

  • Maintain accuracy in assessments, documentation, and medication administration
  • \n

  • Adapt to a busy Boston healthcare environment with varying patient ratios and complex clinical demands
  • \n
