Our client, a leader in Facility Management services, is seeking a Facilities Technician to join their team. As a Facilities Technician, you will be part of the IFM team supporting a pharmaceutical manufacturing site. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Facilities Technician
Location: Harvard, MA
Pay Range: $28.00-$32.00
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
What's the Job?
- Operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of door systems and access control devices.
- Performing inspections and repairs on assigned property areas with a primary focus on door and access-related hardware.
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining electronic access control system components.
- Conducting general maintenance activities, including minor plumbing repairs and patching/painting tasks.
- Participating in ongoing technical, safety, and operational training programs.
What's Needed?
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot various door and gate systems.
- Familiarity with door brands such as Stanley, Dormakaba, and Schlage.
- Working knowledge of computer applications including Gmail, Google Docs, Word, and Excel.
- Willingness to work in a multi-skilled team environment and maintain regular attendance.
