What You’ll Do

  • Perform calibration, maintenance, and service of fixed gas detection systems
  • Work with system components including alarms, relays, control panels, fans, valves, solenoids, and actuators
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues using manufacturer manuals and technical documentation
  • Travel to customer sites to complete service work safely and efficiently
  • Manage your own schedule and complete jobs independently
  • Provide professional, high-quality customer interaction on-site and over the phone
  • Support installations and advanced service work alongside other experienced technicians
  • Mentor and support junior technicians in the field

  • 3+ years of hands-on technical experience – field service, HVAC, electrical, controls, mechanical, or similar

  • Ability to work independently in the field
  • Solid understanding of mechanical and/or electrical systems
  • Professional communication and customer-facing skills
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

What You Bring (Education & Training)

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Additional education (technical school or college coursework) preferred
  • Electrical or electronic coursework from a recognized institution is a plus

Schedule & Expectations

  • Monday – Friday, typically 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM (hours may vary based on jobs)
  • Average 45–50 hours per week depending on workload
  • Participation in an on-call rotation for emergency service support
