We are currently seeking a dedicated Tig Welder to join our team. This role involves performing TIG welding tasks specifically on temperature sensors and thermowells for a diverse range of clients. The welder will be provided with a personal welding booth, comprehensive writing instructions, and daily work orders. Expect to engage in welds on sensors, working with stainless tubes and powder packed wires, and sandblasting to weld a fitting or flange onto proprietary casings.
Responsibilities
- Perform TIG welding on temperature sensors and thermowells.
- Work with stainless tubes and powder packed wires.
- Sandblast and weld fittings or flanges onto proprietary casings.
- Follow detailed writing instructions and daily work orders.
Essential Skills
- Experience in TIG welding.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
- Experience with MIG welding.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience welding smaller pieces.

Work Environment
Work in a well-lit, climate-controlled smaller shop floor, alongside assemblers and operators. Each team member is provided with their own workstation, ensuring an organized and efficient working environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Northampton, MA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
