Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time opportunity is available for a Behavior Specialist or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support an ASD program in a K-12 school setting. This contract position offers 32.5 hours per week, starting ASAP and continuing through June 18, 2025, in Lowell, MA. The role is crucial for providing specialized behavioral support to students on the autism spectrum, focusing on positive interventions and skill development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized behavior plans for students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
  • Collaborate with educational staff to support behavioral strategies across the school day.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed.
  • Maintain a safe, supportive learning environment onsite.
  • Engage in regular communication with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications:

  • Active Massachusetts license or certification as a Behavior Specialist or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).
  • Experience working with students on the autism spectrum and managing behavioral challenges.
  • Previous school-based experience required.
  • Must complete CORI and fingerprinting checks prior to placement.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Location: Lowell, MA
Schedule: Full-time, 32.5 hours per week
Duration: Contract through June 18, 2025
