This is a 2-3 days onsite in Quincy MA, longterm contract with extensions and potential to fulltime conversion.

JOB DESCRIPTION

A large retail & commercial bank is looking for an IT Project Manager to join their Cyber Security team responsible for handling all cyber related projects. The role is hybrid onsite to Quincy MA 2-3 times a week. The bank has close to $90B in assets, 9K employees and more than 2M customers along the east coast. In addition to providing excellent banking experiences for their customers, the bank also very involved in the community through charitable giving and philanthropy to give back to low/moderate income and underserved communities. There are many projects coming down the pipeline like: Zero tolerance and identifying gaps in their infosec standards, vulnerability management and enhancing their security posture in general, and changing way of connecting via SSO. It would be beneficial for the PM to have cyber security background, but if not they are willing to teach. Sometimes they will be putting together project plans from scratch, other times they will be joining in flight. Manages the entire project lifecycle from project definition through implementation. Accountable for meeting agreed upon scope, cost, schedule and quality measures. Develops project plan and drives project milestones. Establishes effective communication plan with project team and key stakeholders. Provides day-to-day direction to project resources. Ensures effective change management occurs throughout the course of the project. Responsible for preparation of documentation, status reports and budgets. Role requires excellent oral and written communications, interpersonal, negotiation, project planning, judgment, leadership, decision-making, analysis and problem-solving skills. specialized knowledge of MS Project, Visio, Excel, Word. Compensation: $40/hr to $48/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, skills, experience, and education. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- 3+ years as an IT PM

- background in IT related projects (infrastructure, Software, etc)

- Cyber Security exposure (or willingness to learn)

- MS Project (Or similar tools)

- ability to communicate cross-functionally and keep projects on track
