Make a meaningful impact as a Special Education Teacher supporting elementary students near Derry, NH for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time contract position runs from September through June, offering a consistent weekly schedule of 35 hours with hours from 8:15 AM to 3:30 PM. The role is centered around working with an elementary caseload, primarily serving students through small group instruction and co-teaching alongside classroom educators.

Ideal candidates will bring experience and passion for working with elementary learners in a school setting, collaborating with classroom staff to deliver individualized support. School-based experience is preferred for this position, and flexibility to adapt to evolving student needs will be essential.

Desired Experience and Skills:

  • Valid Special Education Teacher certification
  • Experience in an elementary school environment strongly preferred
  • Ability to design and implement individualized instructional plans
  • Skilled in small group facilitation and inclusive co-teaching models
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with school personnel, students, and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct specialized instruction to small groups of elementary students

  • Monitor progress and prepare data-driven documentation as required
