\n\nJob Requirements (Qualifications)\n

    \n
  • Associate’s degree in radiology, diagnostic medical sonography, or equivalent certification required\n
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification required\n
  • Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification required\n
  • One (1) to three (3) years of experience as an Ultrasound Technician preferred; at least 5 years of experience as a Cardiac Sonographer or Echocardiography Technician is strongly preferred.\n
  • Proficiency with TEE, TTE, and Stress echo (exercise echo)\n
  • Experience with Philips ultrasound equipment preferred\n
  • Familiarity with Epic EMR and IV starts is a plus\n

\n\nResponsibilities\n

  • Operate diagnostic ultrasound equipment for cardiac imaging, including M-Mode, 2-D, color, Doppler, exercise testing, and TEE\n
  • Perform and document TEE, TTE, and Stress echo studies with accuracy and clinical judgment\n
  • Utilize Lumason contrast agent and conduct bubble studies as required\n
  • Assist physicians and collaborate with the Echocardiology team to deliver patient-centered care\n
  • Ensure accurate patient records and maintain documentation in Epic EMR per hospital policy\n
  • Adhere to departmental protocols, safety standards, and infection control practices\n
