Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly, manage patient check-in and check-out processes, and handle telephone calls with professionalism and courtesy.
• Schedule appointments efficiently using our dental practice management software, ensuring optimal patient flow.
• Verify insurance coverage and benefits for all patients.
• Collect payments and perform accurate billing using appropriate ADA codes.
• Maintain medical records and dental files, review documentation for accuracy, and ensure confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA standards.
• Assist with insurance claims processing, follow up on outstanding balances, and support care plan documentation review.

Qualifications

• Experience in a medical or dental office setting with familiarity in front desk responsibilities and dental terminology.
• Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word.
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and data security at all times.
• Exceptional customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and effective communication abilities.

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
