Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as a Physical Therapist (PT)
- Previous school-based PT experience or equivalent pediatric background
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with teachers, parents, and staff
- Ability to develop and implement IEPs and treatment plans for K-12 students
- Familiarity with relevant documentation and compliance standards
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy services to students individually or in groups, according to their IEPs
- Conduct assessments to determine therapy needs and progress evaluation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student outcomes
- Maintain detailed records and reports aligned with school policies
- Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and strategies
- Provide guidance to staff on adaptive equipment and classroom accommodations
