We are seeking an experienced, dependable, and motivated Landscape Foreman to join our growing team in a full-time, year-round leadership position.

This is not a seasonal landscaping job. We are looking for a long-term team member who takes pride in their work, demonstrates strong leadership skills, and wants to build a career with a company committed to quality, professionalism, and reliability.

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader who can effectively manage crews, maintain high standards, communicate professionally with customers, and ensure daily operations run safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Crew Leadership & Daily Operations

• Lead, supervise, and work alongside landscaping crews.
• Coordinate daily assignments, routes, and job responsibilities.
• Ensure projects and maintenance services are completed efficiently, safely, and to company standards.
• Train, mentor, and hold crew members accountable for performance, attendance, and quality.
• Communicate regularly with management regarding job progress, scheduling, and operational needs.
• Maintain accurate job documentation, including service notes and before-and-after photographs.

Landscape Maintenance & Property Care

• Oversee residential and commercial lawn maintenance operations.
• Perform and supervise spring and fall clean-ups.
• Manage shrub trimming, pruning, bed maintenance, edging, and mulch installations.
• Assist with lawn renovations, aeration, overseeding, dethatching, and new lawn installations.
• Participate in landscape enhancement projects, including grading, drainage, and general property improvements.
• Ensure properties are inspected before and after service to maintain consistent quality.

Equipment & Safety

• Operate commercial mowers, trimmers, blowers, trucks, trailers, and other landscaping equipment.
• Ensure proper equipment operation, cleaning, and routine maintenance.
• Identify and report equipment issues promptly.
• Maintain organized trucks, trailers, and work areas.
• Enforce company safety procedures and professional standards.

Winter Operations

• Participate in snow and ice management operations throughout the winter season.
• Operate plow trucks, snowblowers, and snow removal equipment as assigned.
• Assist with winter property maintenance and equipment preparation.
• Maintain availability during winter weather events, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends when necessary.

Qualifications & Requirements

Required:

• Minimum 3 years of professional landscaping experience.
• Previous crew leadership, supervisory, or foreman experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of commercial landscaping equipment and maintenance practices.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to safely operate trucks and trailers.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and lead by example.
• Dependable attendance, strong work ethic, and attention to detail.
• Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
• Willingness to participate in year-round operations, including snow and ice management.

Preferred:

• Experience managing multiple crews or commercial properties.
• Knowledge of landscape installations, grading, drainage, and hardscape projects.
• Experience operating plow trucks and snow removal equipment.
• Massachusetts pesticide applicator license or relevant industry certifications.
• Experience training and developing employees.
