Job Title: Physical Therapist (Rehabilitation)
Location: Hyannis, MA (ZIP: 02601)
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift (Monday–Friday)
Hours: 8 hours/day | 40 hours/week
Schedule: Monday–Friday + 2 weekends (or 4 weekend days) during the contract + occasional holidays

Role Summary

A healthcare organization is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) for a rehabilitation-focused assignment. The role involves working with adult and pediatric patients to restore function, improve mobility, and prevent disability through individualized treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and establish measurable treatment goals.
• Perform assessments and diagnostic tests to determine physical function and limitations.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families on therapy techniques and recovery processes.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams for care planning and discharge.
• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs), aides, and students as required.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, infection control, and quality standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy (required).
• Active Physical Therapist license in the State of Massachusetts.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with both adult and pediatric patient populations.
• Clinical specialization or certification (if applicable).
