Job DescriptionJob Opportunity: Psychiatrist for Inpatient Behavioral Health

Our organization is looking for psychiatrists who are interested in joining a locum tenens coverage pool for an inpatient behavioral health facility located in Massachusetts. Below are the key details regarding this opportunity:

• Shift Details:
  • Day shifts: 8 AM to 6 PM
  • Night shifts: 6 PM to 8 AM
• Facility Information:
  • The hospital has 48 available beds, typically accommodating between 36 to 48 patients.
• Daytime Responsibilities:
  • Conducting patient rounds and completing necessary documentation.
• Overnight Responsibilities:
  • Handling admissions, managing restraints, and coordinating acute medical send-outs, with no routine rounds required.
  • Overnight clinicians have the option to remain offsite but must be available to come onsite when necessary.
• Electronic Medical Records:
  • Primarily utilizing WellSky, with Epic also in use.
• Availability:
  • What is your potential start date, and what availability can you provide for either daytime or nighttime shifts?
