This position allows for flexibility with a remote work setting, enabling counselors to conduct sessions from the comfort of their home while still maintaining full access to our robust electronic health record systems, including AVATAR. Key Responsibilities\n

- Conduct thorough mental health evaluations through initial consultations, documenting detailed case histories and treatment trajectories.
- Assess and diagnose clients’ mental, emotional, and behavioral health through a variety of evidence-based methodologies.
- Design tailored intervention and recovery plans for individuals, couples, families, and groups addressing their specific needs.
- Lead and facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on fostering openness and resilience among participants.
- Monitor clients’ progress throughout their treatment journey, adjusting intervention strategies as necessary to maximize recovery outcomes.
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to optimize care for clients.
- Stay attuned to and follow up on the hospitalizations of clients, maintaining communication with attending physicians regarding their mental health status.
- Proactively identify and address behaviors that may obstruct recovery, offering preventive strategies and interventions.
- Guide family members and primary caregivers in understanding and managing mental health challenges, fostering a supportive home environment.

Qualifications\n

- A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in Massachusetts.
- Successful completion of relevant examinations such as the NCE or NCMHCE.
- Demonstrated clinical experience in a mental health counseling setting.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR.
- Thorough understanding of the implications of various health conditions and addiction issues on mental health.
- Familiarity with best practices as recommended by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with excellent interpersonal abilities.

This role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
