Location: Brookline, NH
School Site: Captain Samuel Douglass Academy
Start Date: As soon as possible
End Date: June 17, 2026
Schedule: Full-Time | 32.5 hours per week
Daily Hours: 8:35 AM 3:10 PM
Blazer Jobs is actively seeking a qualified and dependable Paraprofessional to support a Life Skills classroom in a school-based setting in Brookline, NH. This is a full-time position for the upcoming school year, providing direct support to students with special needs in both academic and behavioral capacities.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide instructional and behavioral support to students within a Life Skills classroom

Assist lead teachers in implementing lesson plans and individualized education programs (IEPs)

Support students with daily routines and activities
-
Adapt to classroom changes or reassignment as needed
-
Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment
-
Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and students
Qualifications:
-
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
-
Prior paraprofessional or child-related experience in a professional setting
-
Experience working with special education (SPED) populations preferred
-
Comfortable working in Life Skills or other specialized classroom environments

Must be flexible to accommodate classroom or staffing changes
-
Must have at least one completed professional reference before submission

Must have reliable transportation

Able to complete and pass district-specific fingerprinting requirements

Must be able to pass all district and agency onboarding processes
-
Must be available for a Zoom interview prior to hire
