This full-time opportunity offers 32.5 hours per week from 8:15 AM to 3:15 PM, beginning August 31st and extending through June 24th. Work closely with young learners, providing essential ABA services within a well-established educational setting.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential or eligible Behavior Technician (BT) with strong preference
- Prior school-based experience is required
- Competency and comfort working within district policies and settings
- ABA training and ability to independently service an assigned caseload
- High school diploma required
- Must be able to successfully complete district fingerprinting requirements
- Reliable transportation necessary; candidates should be located within a manageable commute
- Please note: the district cannot offer RBT supervision
- Paraprofessional candidates cannot be considered for this role
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver one-on-one or small group behavioral interventions using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies to students in grades K-3
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support individualized education and behavioral plans
- Collect and document behavioral data to inform programming and progress reports
- Ensure a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment for all assigned students
- Maintain professional communication and uphold confidentiality standards
