Registered Nurse – Operating Room travel assignment in Boston, MA. Start date 11/23/2026 for a 13-week assignment. Weekly pay range $3,316–$3,451 per week. Guaranteed hours: 72 hours biweekly. Shift: 12-hour nights (3x12). The role is in a high-volume OR suite within a health system; travel is required for this assignment, with potential to float to other OR locations within the system.

Responsibilities
- Scrub and/or circulate in OR for general surgery, robotics, transplants (kidney, liver), orthopedic, neuro, spine, ENT, GYN, urology, organ procurement, trauma
- Prepare sterile field, set up instruments and equipment, and assist with case turnover; support the surgeon and anesthesia as needed
- Monitor patient status intraoperatively and document events; communicate clearly with the surgical team
- Maintain sterile technique and adherence to infection prevention and safety protocols
- May be floated to other OR locations within the health system; no on-call time, but holidays and weekend rotations may be required
- Ensure patient safety and accurate intraoperative documentation throughout procedures
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts
- BLS certification
- OR scrub and/or circulating experience; preference for orthopedics, neuro, transplant, ENT, general surgery
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (3x12) and participate in holiday/weekend rotations
- Willingness to travel for a 13-week assignment; non-local candidates only; must reside more than 50 miles from the work location; RTO requests must be presented at submission
- Strong communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced OR environment
