Roles & Responsibilities
The Park School is seeking Assistants to the Athletic Director Interns to join our team for the 26-27
academic year. Interns should generally be available between approximately 2:30–5:00 p.m. on
Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, as well as one Saturday in February for a basketball
tournament. In this role, interns will assist with the daily operations and logistics of the athletics
program, including:
● Supporting Park School’s overall athletic program and serving students, coaches, staff, families,
and the broader school community.
● Collaborating closely with the Director of Athletics to uphold athletic program policies and
procedures.
● Assist with scheduling and confirmations, confirming officials and transportation, maintaining
game and practice schedules, uniform inventory and distribution, operating the
scoreboard/scorebook, game day set up/break down
● Performing additional duties consistent with the position as assigned by the Director of Athletics.
Qualifications
● Enrolled as an Undergraduate or Graduate student in Sports Management or similar program
● Background or experience in athletics
● Experience coaching at the youth, high school, and college level is preferred.
● Professionalism in conduct, demeanor, and work habits
● Reliable, responsible and highly detail oriented
● Committed to fostering and contributing to a positive team culture.
● Able to communicate and collaborate with students, parents, and colleagues.
● Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
● CPR/AED Certification or ability to obtain it upon hiring
