A local school district is seeking dedicated paraprofessionals for contract positions covering the 2025/26 academic year, from August 2026 through June 2027. This opportunity offers full-time hours (32.5 to 37.5 per week) working with K-12 students who have intensive needs—providing essential classroom assistance and meaningful one-on-one support.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Prior experience supporting students in a school setting is required.
- Familiarity with working alongside teachers to address the needs of students with intensive requirements.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing classroom dynamics and student needs.
- Strong communication, patience, and organizational skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education or paraprofessional certification is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist classroom teachers with instructional duties and classroom management.
- Provide individualized attention and assistance to students with intensive support plans.
- Help implement accommodations and modifications as outlined in IEPs.
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages student engagement and independence.
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and families to promote student achievement.
