- Pay Rate: $20/hr
- Shift/Hours: Training for 1–2 weeks; Work hours between 7 AM–5 PM CST
- Equipment: Must use own desktop/laptop; VDI will be issued
Job SummaryThe Provider Enrollment and Credentialing Coordinator supports key credentialing, enrollment, and provider data workflows to ensure complete, accurate, and compliant records. This role requires strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to manage sensitive provider data while reviewing files, cross-referencing information in Windward, and resolving discrepancies. Accuracy is the top priority in this position.Key Responsibilities
- Review provider file data and cross-reference information in Windward.
- Resolve discrepancies to ensure consistent and accurate provider data.
- Perform data entry with a strong emphasis on accuracy over speed.
- Support processing of Provider Ops Windward data (training provided).
- Review and verify provider licensure, NPI, insurance, CDS, DEA certificate, education, hospital privileges, and board certifications.
- Check National Practitioners Data Bank for adverse actions.
- Review federal/state OIG and SAM exclusion reports.
- Review Medicare Opt-Out reports.
- Monitor and report provider complaints and utilization management results.
- Assist in scheduling site reviews and enrollment into payment systems (Windward).
- Enter and maintain provider information within the Cactus credentialing database.
- Ensure credentialing files are complete and issues are documented for committee review.
- Meet accuracy and turnaround time standards.
- Support department process improvements, NCQA certification activities, and internal/external communications.
- Maintain confidentiality of all credentialing data.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of job-related experience.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency with PC applications: Word, Excel, Outlook, workflow software, and time-tracking tools.
- Ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills; able to handle interruptions.
- Ability to navigate credentialing-related websites.
- Ability to work more than 40 hours per week when required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with files, data collection, or coordinating documentation.
- Knowledge of dental terminology.
- Customer service experience in retail or service environments.
