Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A position is available for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support students with severe behavior challenges at an elementary school in Billerica, MA. This contract role spans the current school year, starting ASAP through June 2026, with a workweek of 32.5 to 35 hours. Supervision will be provided by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans designed to address and reduce severe behavioral challenges.
- Work directly with students under BCBA guidance to ensure progress and safety.
- Collect and accurately document data on student behavior and responses to interventions.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to promote positive behavioral supports within the classroom.
- Follow all regulatory and ethical standards related to behavior intervention services.
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
- Experience working with students exhibiting severe behaviors in a school setting preferred.
- Ability to work independently while following BCBA supervision and guidance.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and families.
- Commitment to professional ethics and student confidentiality.
