The Opportunity
A&M is seeking a self-motivated Civil Project Designer I with 0–3 years of civil/site design experience. Project types include retail, multifamily residential, commercial, medical/institutional, and mixed-use development.
What You’ll Do
· Work on civil/site design for projects of varying size and scope.
· Support grading, utility, and stormwater design.
· Participate in construction site visits and inspections of stormwater system components.
· Assist with construction-related tasks as needed.
· Read zoning ordinances/bylaws and identify information relevant to permitting and allowed uses.
· Work independently once given direction while collaborating with the project team.
· Develop practical skills through hands-on application on active projects.
What We’re Looking For
· 0–3 years of civil/site design experience.
· Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, or currently pursuing/completing one.
· AutoCAD proficiency is a strong plus.
· Microsoft Office proficiency.
· Understanding of site grading, utility, and stormwater design principles is a plus.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Positive attitude, work ethic, emotional intelligence, and willingness to learn.
