Make a meaningful impact supporting elementary students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist. This contract position, starting as soon as possible and continuing through June 18, 2027, involves providing speech and language services in an engaging school environment near Lynn, MA. You’ll enjoy a consistent 34-hour workweek and have the opportunity to work with a supportive interdisciplinary educational team, helping young learners succeed in communication and academics.
Desired skills and qualifications:
- Valid license from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education in Speech and Hearing Disabilities (all levels)
- Current or eligible license from the Massachusetts Board of Allied Health
- Certification by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (CCC preferred, but Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply)
- Experience with elementary caseloads is highly valued
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings, assessments, and therapy for elementary students
- Develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Maintain thorough, accurate records and prepare progress reports for educators and families
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to foster effective intervention and carryover
- Participate in IEP meetings to share expertise and support student growth
