This opportunity is for a paraprofessional position supporting students in a school setting located in Rochester, NH. This contract role requires dedication to providing individualized assistance, including 1:1 support for students as needed. Candidates must be comfortable with toileting and diapering responsibilities as part of daily care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one support to students to assist with academic, behavioral, and personal needs
- Assist students with toileting and diapering routines in a respectful and safe manner
- Support classroom teachers in implementing educational plans and promoting student engagement
- Monitor and encourage positive behavior and social skills among students
- Maintain a clean and safe environment conducive to learning and development
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience working as a paraprofessional or in a similar educational support role
- Ability to provide personal care including toileting and diapering
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively assist students and collaborate with staff
- Patience, compassion, and reliability in supporting students with diverse needs
- Ability to work full-time for 37.5 hours per week according to the school schedule
