Director of Clinical Services
Job Summary:
Harmony Hospice is seeking a compassionate and visionary Director of Clinical Services to lead our clinical operations in Chicopee, MA. Responsibilities:

Coordinate and oversee all direct and indirect patient services provided by clinical organization personnel

Provide supervision and guidance to clinical staff to ensure the quality of services and maintenance of standards

Perform chart audits and gather data for QAPI activities

Appraise clinical staff performance during their probationary period and annually

Identify and evaluate patient needs and appropriateness of home care

Maintain patient clinical records and assure compliance with local, state, and federal laws as well as CHAP standards of care

Assist with the orientation of new staff and participate in audits, IDG meetings, and QAPI

Maintain adequate and appropriate Medical Supplies

Responsible for orientation of new personnel and in-services for current staff

Ensure Medicare, State, and CHAP regulations are followed by all clinical staff
Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

Registered Nurse licensed by the state of Massachusetts

At least one (1) year of supervisory experience

Ability to market and deal tactfully with customers and the community

Knowledge of business management, governmental regulations, and CHAP standards

Ability to communicate well, both verbally and in writing

Self-confidence and positive attitude toward self and others, with a commitment to goal achievement
