Make a difference across multiple schools by supporting students’ success in a dynamic educational environment. This contract opportunity offers the chance to serve K-12 students district-wide, from elementary through high school, providing comprehensive psychological services that positively impact school communities.
This role begins August 26, 2026, and extends through June 14, 2027, with full-time hours ranging from 35 to 37.5 per week across four buildings. You’ll collaborate with caring educators, administrators, and families, allowing you to deliver meaningful support to students across grade levels.
Qualifications:
- Valid Vermont School Psychologist Certificate (required)
- Experience or strong knowledge of K-12 settings
- Skillful in assessments, counseling, and consultation
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide psychological evaluations and assessments for students K-12
- Deliver counseling and intervention services individually and in groups
- Consult with teachers, specialists, and families to develop effective support plans
- Contribute to IEP meetings and help design positive behavioral strategies
- Support multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) and special education compliance
- Travel between four district buildings as needed
