American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a primarily outpatient hospital-based role, requiring 2+ years of experience and an active NH PT license.

- Primarily outpatient setting with floating to inpatient as needed within a 25-mile radius between facilities
- Patient population includes ortho, neuro, general deconditioning, balance deficits, and pain management cases
- Day shift schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Uses EPIC EMR system

Requirements\n

- Active NH Physical Therapist license required (license required if applicable)
- Current BLS certification required, or must be obtained within 30 days of start date
- Minimum 2 years of Physical Therapy experience required
- Graduate of an APTA accredited Physical Therapist program required
- Prior experience in outpatient or inpatient Physical Therapy settings preferred
- EPIC EMR experience preferred
- Driver's License required for consideration
- 2 professional references required

- Performs physical therapy evaluations, develops treatment plans, and carries out treatments to restore function and relieve pain
- Provides care in accordance with standards established by the American Physical Therapy Association
- Professional dress code required for outpatient PT staff; closed-toe and closed-side shoes required; jeans and open-toed shoes not permitted
- Any scrub color is acceptable
- RTO should be minimal, with 3-4 days considered reasonable for a 13-week contract at manager's discretion
- Local candidates within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility are considered local and not eligible for renewals or extensions
- Candidates who have worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months must disclose this information
