Minimum 1+ years Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) experience and CNA certificate required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A rewarding opportunity is available for a certified caregiver to support a student within a dynamic educational setting. This contract position offers a meaningful way to contribute both medically and academically in a collaborative school environment.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- 8:50 a.m. to 3:22 p.m.
- Position starts as soon as possible and continues through June 2026
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 support for a student within a life skills program
- Assist with academic activities and classroom engagement
- Aid with toileting routines in accordance with a personalized plan
- Assist with student positioning and mobility throughout the school day
- Ensure student safety and promote independence, dignity, and participation
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and nursing staff to foster an inclusive setting
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA)
- Experience as a Medical Assistant is also valued
- Ability to follow individualized care and academic support plans
- Skilled in providing personal care, positioning, and toileting assistance
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Current New Hampshire certification required
