Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows will be considered
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience is highly desirable
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, support staff, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to determine students’ speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student goals
- Provide direct and consultative speech therapy services in both group and individual settings
- Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of student progress
- Partner with teachers and other specialists to create engaging learning experiences
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff development, and family consultations
- Support the social and academic integration of students with communication challenges
