Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as an SLP
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows will be considered
  • Previous school-based or pediatric experience is highly desirable
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, support staff, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to determine students’ speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student goals
  • Provide direct and consultative speech therapy services in both group and individual settings
  • Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of student progress
  • Partner with teachers and other specialists to create engaging learning experiences
  • Participate in IEP meetings, staff development, and family consultations
  • Support the social and academic integration of students with communication challenges
