A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Putney, VT. This contract role is perfect for a licensed professional seeking a comprehensive school-year assignment focused on delivering high-quality speech and language services to children across all grade levels.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist with eligibility to practice in a school environment
- Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, educators, and families
- Proficiency in conducting speech and language assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and documenting progress
- Ability to implement evidence-based therapy techniques tailored to individual student needs
Responsibilities:
- Administer speech and language screenings and evaluations for students
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) focused on speech and language goals
- Provide direct therapy services to students in individual or group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student progress and adapt strategies as needed
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes
- Participate in school meetings and professional development activities as required
