Position Summary
We are seeking a warm, dependable, and enthusiastic EEC Certified Teacher to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood education, enjoys working collaboratively, and is committed to helping children learn through play, exploration, and positive relationships.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
- Implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities
- Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers
- Maintain classroom cleanliness, organization, and licensing compliance
- Observe and document children's growth and progress
- Communicate effectively with families regarding daily activities and milestones
- Work collaboratively as part of a supportive teaching team
Qualifications
- EEC Teacher Certification required
- Previous childcare or preschool experience preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Positive attitude and genuine love for working with children
- Ability to meet EEC background check and employment requirements
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
