A rewarding contract position is available for a skilled SLP-CCC with the chance to support young learners and help them reach their full potential. This role, based near Peabody, MA, runs through June 14, 2027, offering 35 hours per week in a supportive, school-based environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Active Massachusetts SLP license
- Current Massachusetts Department of Education (DOE) educational certification
- Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Compassionate approach and dedication to promoting student success
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Deliver evidence-based therapy services, collaborating with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
- Offer consultation and strategies to classroom staff to facilitate inclusive learning
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing clear input and advocacy for students
- Maintain all required documentation and professional standards
