Urology Ultrasound Tech – Contract Opportunity\n\nLocation: 41 Waconah Street, Pittsfield, MA 01201\nFacility: Berkshire Health Systems\nLocal Radius: No local candidates within 50 miles\n\nRole Overview\n\nThe Urology Ultrasound Tech supports the Urology Care Team by performing renal and bladder ultrasounds during patient visits and collaborating with urologists and clinical staff. This role requires strong attention to detail, independence, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nPerform urology-focused ultrasound exams (renal, bladder)\n\nAssist with sterile procedure setup and maintain sterile technique\n\nAssist with patient mobility, transferring, and equipment handling\n\nWork independently and efficiently in a busy clinical environment\n\nCollaborate with onsite lab and urology providers\n\nRequirements\n\nExperience in Urology ultrasound strongly preferred\n\nFamiliarity with sterile technique and sterile tray setup\n\nAbility to work in a demanding environment and lift/move patients/equipment\n\nCOVID-19 vaccination required (dose on or after 10/3/23)\nExemption requires approved signed documentation; if approved, masking is mandatory\n\nScheduling & RTO\n\nNo more than 5 days RTO accepted; must be submitted with profile\n\nRTO requests after submission will not be approved\n\nHoliday requirement: Must work ONE of the following blocks:\n\nChristmas Eve/Christmas Day + post-holiday weekend\n\nNew Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day + post-holiday weekend\n\nExtensions: Ends falling in Nov–Dec not eligible for early-2026 extension\n\nAdditional Details\n\n8 hours non-billable orientation\n\nHoliday/OT/Callback Pay Rate: 1.25x\n\nCall Allowance: $4/hr\n\nCharge Pay: Not applicable
