Now Hiring: Maintenance Mechanic – Canton, MA
A growing manufacturing team in Canton, MA is looking for an experienced Maintenance Mechanic. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled industrial maintenance professional who enjoys troubleshooting, repairing, and improving production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Location: Canton, MA
Shift: Monday – Thursday | 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Pay: $35 – $42/hour + 20% shift differential (based on experience, education, and qualifications)
About the Role
The Maintenance Mechanic will coordinate maintenance projects, perform facility and production equipment maintenance, and report directly to the Maintenance Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general office and manufacturing maintenance
- Lubricate and service heavy production machinery
- Repair and replace bearings, gear-heads, belts, chains, conveyors, filters, and other components
- Modify structural components to improve safety, efficiency, and cost savings
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform repairs
- Maintain a strong focus on Environment, Health & Safety standards
- Complete additional maintenance tasks as assigned
Qualifications & Experience
? High School Diploma or equivalent
? 5+ years of industrial mechanical maintenance experience in a production environment
? Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
? Knowledge of pneumatic cylinders and controls
? Familiarity with environmental, health, and safety regulations
? Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
? Forklift certification is a plus
? Extrusion and sheet line experience is a plus
