Make an immediate impact in a lively elementary environment supporting 4th and 5th grade students with moderate disabilities. This full-time, on-site opportunity begins as soon as possible and is expected to run through the remainder of the school year. You’ll work within a close-knit, collaborative classroom setting, focusing on a small caseload of approximately 5–8 students. With a supportive team—including paraprofessionals assigned to the class and access to BCBA and clinician support through drop-ins—you’ll have the resources needed to deliver personalized instruction and interventions.
Key Qualifications:
- Current, active Massachusetts DESE Special Education license required
- Experience teaching elementary special education, ideally with 4th and 5th graders
- Strong commitment to supporting students with moderate disabilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively with paraprofessionals and related service providers
Role Details:
- Full-time, contract position; schedule is 7:30 AM–3:30 PM
- Located at a single school site, fully onsite
- Manage a small caseload, fostering academic and social-emotional growth
- Design and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Work closely with classroom staff to provide differentiated instruction
- Communicate proactively with families and multidisciplinary teams
