Boston Children's Hospital is seeking an experienced Pediatric Sleep Technologist to join our nationally recognized Sleep Center in Waltham, MA. In this role, you'll perform comprehensive pediatric sleep studies, educate patients and families, and work alongside a multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering exceptional care to children and adolescents.

What You'll Do

\n

    \n
  • Perform inpatient and outpatient pediatric sleep studies (Polysomnography)
  • \n

  • Conduct routine and specialized sleep procedures including:
  • \n

  • Polysomnography (PSG)
  • \n

  • PAP Titration
  • \n

  • Multiple Sleep Latency Test (MSLT)
  • \n

  • Maintenance of Wakefulness Test (MWT)
  • \n

  • Oxygen and tracheostomy studies
  • \n

  • Prepare patients and equipment prior to testing
  • \n

  • Obtain patient medical histories and review physician orders
  • \n

  • Educate patients and families on Positive Airway Pressure (PAP) therapy and properly fit pediatric PAP masks
  • \n

  • Monitor study quality and ensure adherence to hospital protocols
  • \n

  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and clean sleep lab equipment
  • \n

  • Assist with training new staff and students
  • \n

  • Participate in department meetings and continuing education opportunities
  • \n

Qualifications

\n

Required

\n

    \n
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • \n

  • Minimum of 2 years of Pediatric Sleep Technologist experience
  • \n

  • CPR Certification
  • \n

  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • \n

\n

Preferred

\n

    \n
  • Associate's Degree
  • \n

  • Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT)
  • \n

\n
