Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position is available to serve students from kindergarten through 12th grade in a well-established school setting. This NSY contract role is based in New Bedford, MA, and offers an engaging opportunity to support diverse learners across a broad age range.

Responsibilities include evaluating, diagnosing, and providing therapeutic interventions for students with speech, language, and communication disorders. You will collaborate with educators and other professionals to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress. Supervision of Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) and Clinical Fellows (CFYs) may be required, depending on experience.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

  • Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working in school settings, strongly preferred
  • Ability to manage a full K-12 caseload effectively
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and Portuguese is highly preferred
  • Experience supervising SLPAs and CFYs is a plus, though new graduates are welcome to apply
