Adecco is assisting their client in Barre, VT in the search for a Custodian/Maintenance Support team member. This full-time role is primarily custodial, with additional maintenance support tasks once daily cleaning responsibilities are completed.
Schedule & Compensation

Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

On-Call Requirement: Must be available for on-call support (after initial training period).
Key Responsibilities
-
Clean vacant apartments including floors, walls, appliances, fixtures, and more
-
Maintain cleanliness of common areas including the office building, laundry room, and maintenance office/shop

Pick up trash around the property and near dumpsters
-
Set up tables and other equipment for meetings and events
-
Assist with food distribution by carrying and setting up boxes in the community center

Perform light maintenance tasks such as:
-
Replacing faucets and unclogging drains/toilets
-
Hanging doors and changing door locks
-
Changing lightbulbs and replacing smoke detectors

Minor painting and touch-ups
-

Complete required paperwork and enter information into the property’s computer database
Qualifications
-
Previous custodial experience preferred
-
Basic maintenance skills required

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Comfortable using a computer for basic data entry

Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
