Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time, contract opportunity is available for a licensed Massachusetts School Psychologist to support students in a high school setting in Amherst, MA. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact within a school-based environment throughout the current school year, with a commitment ending in June 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide psychological evaluation, assessment, and consultation services to support student learning and well-being
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies
- Conduct behavioral assessments and recommend supports tailored to student needs
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to address student challenges and promote positive outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all relevant regulations and guidelines
Qualifications:
- Active Massachusetts School Psychologist license (required; applicants must provide a screenshot of their license upon submission)
- Experience working in school-based settings, preferably with high school populations
- Strong skills in psychological assessment and intervention
- Ability to work full time (35 hours per week) from ASAP through June 25, 2026
- Reliable transportation and ability to complete background checks promptly
