Overview
UMass Lowell is seeking an experienced IT Consultant to support the enhancement and customization of its CRM platform for Graduate and Online (GPS) Recruitment and Admissions. The consultant will help improve processes, data quality, reporting, and overall system functionality.
Onsite Contract Job Two optional 1-year extensions
Key Responsibilities

• Develop SOPs, process documentation, and knowledge-transfer materials for Recruiting and Student Success teams.
  

• Support Marketing Cloud setup, data flows, and journey development; identify gaps or blockers.
  

• Create a clear roadmap for GPS technology and process improvements; align with key stakeholders.
  

• Lead process improvement and data quality initiatives.
  

• Build dashboards and reports for both operational and leadership needs.
  

RequirementsRequired Skills
Minimum 4+ Years of experience to related fields.
Business & Strategy

• Ability to map and improve business processes.
  

• Strong documentation, requirements gathering, and business analysis skills.
  

• Experience developing KPIs, business cases, and journey maps.
  

• Strong communication skills, especially with executives and cross-functional teams.
  

• Change management experience.
  

Technical

• Strong Salesforce knowledge (architecture, Apex development, reports/dashboards).
  

• Experience with Marketing Cloud journeys, AMPscript, SQL, and Data Extensions.
  

• Business intelligence experience (Tableau, Snowflake, SQL, Python).
  

• Integration design using APIs or event-driven frameworks.
  

• Familiarity with AI-driven automation (RAG, model context).
  

• Version control and development workflow using Git/GitHub and VS Code.
  

• FormAssembly configuration and data automation.
