Position: Trust & Estates Paralegal

Location: Boston, MA

Compensation: $100,000 - $125,000

\n

Onsite Logistics: Hybrid 3 Days a week

\n


\n

As a Paralegal, your duties and responsibilities may include the following:

\n


\n

    \n
  • Preparation of gift and estate tax returns
  • \n

  • Managing a variety of Probate Division cases, including probate cases, trust petitions, and occasional guardianship and conservatorship matters, from start to finish
  • \n

  • Calendaring cases and advise attorneys of upcoming deadlines, etc.
  • \n

  • Handling post-mortem administration issues, including required notices, real estate filings, etc.
  • \n

  • Handling occasional trust & will drafting as needed
  • \n

Qualifications

\n


\n

    \n
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • \n

  • California notary license, preferred
  • \n

  • Thorough knowledge of the following: probate administration and documentation, trust administration and documentation, and preparation or supervision of accountings
  • \n

  • Experience with 706 & 709 preparation, probate division case filing and management, trust and will drafting, and trust funding and asset management, is preferred
  • \n

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Word and Excel
  • \n

  • Outstanding organizational, administrative, and communication (oral and written) skills
  • \n

  • Possess high attention to detail, a strong work ethic and is self-motivated
  • \n

  • Demonstrate ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, efficiently multi-task and produce a high-end work product in a fast-paced environment;
  • \n

  • Team-oriented mindset
  • \n

  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with the appropriate discretion, and,
  • \n

  • Ability and willingness to work overtime and travel
  • \n
