Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support students with moderate to severe needs in kindergarten through third grade at an elementary school setting in Pittsfield, MA. This full-time contract position offers the chance to contribute to meaningful behavioral interventions and support within a school environment.
Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), either in-person or through virtual supervision.
- Provide direct one-on-one support to students with behavioral challenges, focusing on positive behavior strategies.
- Collect and record data on student progress and behavior.
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and administration to optimize individualized student support.
- Ensure adherence to ethical guidelines and maintain professional standards in all communications and interventions.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in good standing.
- Experience working with elementary-aged children, especially those with moderate to severe behavioral needs.
- Ability to follow detailed behavior plans and collect accurate data.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work within the school schedule and adapt to student needs.
- Willingness to engage in either onsite or virtual supervision arrangements.
