Job Description

Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support students with moderate to severe needs in kindergarten through third grade at an elementary school setting in Pittsfield, MA. This full-time contract position offers the chance to contribute to meaningful behavioral interventions and support within a school environment.

Responsibilities:

Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), either in-person or through virtual supervision.
Provide direct one-on-one support to students with behavioral challenges, focusing on positive behavior strategies.
Collect and record data on student progress and behavior.
Collaborate with school staff, families, and administration to optimize individualized student support.
Ensure adherence to ethical guidelines and maintain professional standards in all communications and interventions.

Qualifications:

Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in good standing.
Experience working with elementary-aged children, especially those with moderate to severe behavioral needs.
Ability to follow detailed behavior plans and collect accurate data.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to work within the school schedule and adapt to student needs.
Willingness to engage in either onsite or virtual supervision arrangements.
