Job Description

An exciting contract opportunity is available for a dedicated Occupational Therapist to serve a district-wide population within a supportive and engaging educational setting. This role offers the chance to work with students across grades K-12, providing valuable services throughout four school buildings. The assignment runs full-time, 35–37.5 hours a week, from August 26, 2026, through June 14, 2027.

Qualifications:

Current Vermont Occupational Therapist Certificate
Experience delivering OT services in school settings preferred
Strong assessment and intervention planning skills
Outstanding communication and collaboration abilities
Adaptability working across multiple school environments and age levels

Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive OT evaluations and develop individualized plans for students in grades K-12
Implement therapy sessions addressing fine motor, sensory, and functional skills in line with IEP goals
Document student progress and adjust interventions as needed
Consult with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary staff to support student participation and success within the classroom environment
Travel independently between four district buildings to serve a diverse caseload
