Job Description

Step into an impactful role supporting students and staff as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Autism Specialist for the upcoming 2026–2027 school year! Based onsite and serving four dynamic school sites, you’ll collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and support teams to positively shape learning environments for students with autism. Make a meaningful difference through expert behavior consultation, classroom coaching, and by developing effective intervention strategies.

Desired Qualifications:

Active BCBA certification (please submit a screenshot of your active credentials)
Background working as a BCBA or Autism Specialist in a school setting preferred
Demonstrated experience conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and crafting Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
Proven ability to coach and guide teachers and support staff on behavioral supports and strategies
Previous involvement in autism-specific classrooms or with multidisciplinary school teams
Reliable personal transportation (travel between multiple school sites is essential)
Strong communication and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct FBAs and develop individualized BIPs for students with autism
Provide onsite consultation and modeling for instructional teams
Coach educators and paraprofessionals to enhance their skills in supporting students with behavioral needs
Support seamless collaboration with school psychologists, counselors, and related service providers
Ensure timely, professional communication with all educational partners

Additional Requirements:

Completion and submission of a drug screen
Successful fingerprinting and background check (CORI)
Commitment to punctuality and professional presence at all times
Notification procedures in case of illness-related absences
