13-week assignment with potential for Temp-to-Hire
Soliant Health is seeking a highly skilled Oncology Pharmacist to join a Cancer and Infusion Center in Berkshire County, MA. This is a full-time travel opportunity for an experienced pharmacist who thrives in a fast-paced, patient-focused oncology environment.
Position Details

Schedule: Monday Friday, day shifts (~7:00 AM 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM 4:30 PM)

Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Temp-to-Hire possible)

Setting: Oncology & Infusion Center
Duties & Responsibilities

Assess patient therapy for appropriateness, including age-specific modifications
-
Implement clinical interventions to prevent adverse drug events
-
Conduct clinical research and professional development programs

Serve as a liaison to other departments, providing operational support and educational services for new treatment regimens

Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of regulations governing intravenous admixtures, chemotherapy, and other sterile products
-
Supervise pharmacy technicians and other support personnel
-
Maintain and oversee adequate medication inventory
-
Develop and update department and nursing policies
-
Standardize ordering procedures for chemotherapeutic medications

Participate in specialty pharmacy medication management
Ideal Candidate
-
5+ years of extensive acute care clinical experience
-
Ability to mix pounds is REQUIRED
-
pletion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency in Oncology is strongly preferred
-
Board Certification in Oncology Pharmacy (BCOP) is strongly preferred

Ability to work independently within established policy

Capable of supervising support personnel
