Sudbury Park and Recreation is seeking a Camp Director for our popular Sudbury Summer program. Sudbury Summer is a classic day camp for children ages 5-10 held at the recently renovated Fairbank Community Center. We offer a full menu of activities every session. Campers rotate through a mix of fun, creative, and active programming designed for each age group, including: sports & team games, arts & crafts, theatre & music activities, daily aquatics and STEM program activities, plus special events, shows and field trips (age group dependent).
The Camp Director is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the camp site, including camper safety, staff management, scheduling, family communication, and the overall operation of the camp.
Candidates must be energetic, organized, and focused on ensuring a safe, positive and inclusive experience for all participants. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required; supervisory experience strongly preferred. Educators and/or candidates with leadership experience in camp/youth programs are encouraged to apply.
Position is seasonal and not eligible for benefits with the Town. Must be available Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM while camp is in session (June 29, 2026 – August 7, 2026, closed 7/4/26) and must attend pre-camp training. Note: posted pay rates are ranges; starting pay will based on qualifications.
