Hotel Maintenance Engineer – Hilton Garden Inn Springfield MA

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs of hotel facilities, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and appliances
- Respond promptly to guest requests and maintenance issues to ensure guest satisfaction
- Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime and extend the lifespan of hotel assets
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of supplies
- Collaborate with the management team to identify and address safety hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of event spaces and other hotel areas as needed
- Support the overall cleanliness and safety of the hotel premises
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in building maintenance, facilities management, or a similar role
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general repair techniques
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
